As the parent/legal guardian. we understand that said child will be participating in activities at Superior Culinary Center and in the course of such activities said child may have direct contact and exposure to various appliances, equipment and tools associated with cooking. I further understand that such appliances, equipment and tools are capable of causing serious personal injury and property damage. Knowing the risks of cooking, on behalf of the minor and myself, I agree to assume those risks and to release, indemnify and hold harmless Superior Equipment & Supply CO. and/or any of its Officers, Director, Employees, Agents, Contractors or Representatives for any and all personal injury and property damages resulting from said child’s participation in activities. I give Superior authority to seek emergency medical treatment for said child. I know of no medical or other condition that would prevent said child from participation in activities at Superior Culinary Center. I grant the right to photograph, reproduce, and use said child’s picture, silhouette, and other reproductions of physical likeness in connection with Superior Equipment promotions.
I hereby give permission for images of my child, captured during the Superior Culinary Center Summer Camp 2019 through video, photo and digital camera, to be used solely for the purposes of Superior Culinary Centers (SES Organization) promotional material and publications, and waive any rights of compensation or ownership thereto. I grant the right to video tape for television, photograph, reproduce, and use my Childs picture, silhouette, and other reproductions of physical likeness in connection with SCC promotions.

Summer Camp Week 9

Theme: International Week Global Cuisine

Class Description: Can’t travel the world? Then bring global cuisine to you — from Crispy Mexican Bites to Shrimp Tikka Masala, Bollywood style, Curries simmering in huge vats, each pan the shade of a season. Crepes browning on griddles, flipped and smeared with molten chocolate.

Eating is surely one of the greatest pleasures of travel. When you can’t enjoy the luxury of strolling from patisserie to paelleria, pouring international influences into your cooking is the tastiest way to banish gastronomic monotony. This four-day camp for our Junior Chefs will let them experience, hands-on, cooking from around the world. These are simple yet sophisticated menus that they can recreate at home. They will learn the basics of knife skills, menu planning, and organizing prep work.

Day 1: Mexican Fiesta Menu: With bold flavors at the forefront, this menu of Crispy Mexican Bites, Garlic Shrimp is sure to please all. For dessert, indulge with our smooth and creamy Latin Flan.

Crispy Mexican Bites: Mexican Rice with Charred Tomatoes, Chiles, and Onion: Layered Mexican Salad: Mexican-Style Garlic Shrimp & Perfect Latin Flan.

Day 2: Indian Bollywood Menu: With tradition in mind, we crafted an authentic menu that is sure to transport you to India. Our menu of Indian dishes with spices & seasonings and Naan bread is a symphony of flavors that is not only appealing, but also easy to prepare.

Indian-Style Spinach with Fresh Cheese (Saag Paneer): Shrimp Tikka Masala: Chicken Makhani: Indian Flatbread (Paratha) & Apricot Custard Flan.

Day 3: A Taste of France– Learn the art and secrets of French cuisine with our cooking classes in our International Global Cuisine Week. The French know a thing or two about cooking and this is your chance to share some of their culinary secrets. Spend a day learning about French cuisine. Our French cooking classes will awaken your senses with several recipes. You will be taking back some very useful tips to impress your friends at home for you`r next dinner party.

Crab Cakes with Remoulade Sauce: Salad with Herbed Baked Goat Cheese and Vinaigrette: Potatoes Lyonnaise: Steak Tips au Poivre & French Silk Chocolate Pie

Day 4: Traditional Thai: Hot and spicy with inspiration from the tropics Thai food is within reach for any home cook with a little bit of culinary curiosity. Learn to balance spicy, sweet, sour, salty and bitter harmoniously which is a hallmark of Thai cuisine food. After this class, you will love to cook with exotic flavors and fresh ingredients creating marinades and Thai curry pastes to start.

Shrimp and Mango Spring Rolls: Kung Pao Shrimp: Grilled Thai Curry Marinated Skirt Steak, Thai-Style Curried Chicken Fried Rice & Coconut Cream Pie.
