Superior is proud to offer culinary and pastry arts summer camp, where young campers can experience a real culinary adventure. Our camp program is designed to spark interest in healthy fresh foods and fun activities and lets your young campers explore their culinary side. Campers will get to experience new tastes and learn to prepare recipes from various world cuisines.
Gardening is very interactive and engaging activity that excites kids to not only learn more about healthy fresh foods but actually cook and eat them! We believe this is a great way to show kids how much fun fresh foods are by letting them plant a garden and take care of it…Here at the Superior Culinary Camp we aim to educate students on the importance of gardening.
The chefs will teach the kids how to pick fresh vegetables and use fresh herbs and salads from our own vegetable and herb garden for all classes Please note that items may be adapted or changed to suit student needs – Please ensure you note on the Registration Packet any dietary needs (we may call for additional information) Items may also change due to market availability.
Learn the importance of connecting our children to the wonders of being involved in gardening and cooking. The kid’s culinary summer camp will include a lineup of fun classes, along with a showcase of summer fun and camps where kids can explore different outdoor cooking activities.

The daily topics for both the Cooking Camp and Baking Camp are geared towards healthy eating. At Superior Camp Adventures, no two days are ever the same. Participants are instructed in cooking and baking at beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels. Whether you’re beating the heat with our “Cool Treats,” tasting old world favorites of Italy, uncovering culinary favorites of India, or dipping into ”Chocolate Adventure,” you never know what to expect next! Learn how to cook in a hands-on, safe, fun environment. They also are taught kitchen safety and sanitation practices, how to read a recipe, and cooking techniques, not to mention how to make yummy dishes such as hummus with vegetable crudités and mouth-watering baked goods such as muffins and scones.
Each week focuses on learning about healthy foods that can be substituted into recipes for delicious and nutritious meals. Cooking is a wonderful way to introduce healthy foods to children. Our activities are designed to help bring kids into the kitchen for a fun and healthy experience. . Our highest goal is to inspire our young culinary campers to learn to trust and enjoy fresh, healthy, and natural foods and understand the impact these products have on their overall health and happiness.
Student Registration starts on March 1st, 2015. Registration Fees is a one-time-only fee of $25.00 that allows your child to receive our signature Cook like a Chef apron, chef hat and a personalized recipe box

- Ages: 6 – 9 years | Duration: Monday-Thursday | Time: 3:00pm to 6:00pm | Cost: $200/week
- Ages: 9-15 years | Duration: Monday-Friday | Time: 9:30am to 1:00pm | Cost: $225/week
Graduation Ceremony & Awards: The Junior Chef Cooking competition and Awards Day will be held at the conclusion of the culinary camp on August 29, 2015 at 10:30am all students may invite two guests to the Saturday Graduation to enjoy a luncheon prepared by our Junior Chefs.
This contest is meant to be good faith and in compliance with the nature of The Superior Culinary Center. The mission of the culinary center is to create future healthier generations through teaching them to cook and eat good nutrition. With our kids program we aim to empower children and families to reach their full potential by having the energy and good health needed to accomplish their life goals. We partner with parents and the community becomes more knowledgeable about nutrition and enables children to make healthy choices every day
